Y=

This key takes you to the function entry screen. You may enter up to 10 functions. You may turn functions on/off by left cursoring over the = sign and entering.

For example: This screen shows Y1 turned off and Y2 turned on. Only Y2 would graph when you pressed the "GRAPH" button.

WINDOW

This window lets you sett the window and scale parameters. The following may be modified.

Xmin: The x-value at the left corner of the screen.

Xmax: The x-value at the right corner of the screen.

Ymin: The y-value at the bottom of the screen.

Ymax:The y-value at the top of the screen.

Xscl: The distance between each tick on the x-axis.

Yscl: The distance between each tick on the y-axis.

ZOOM

  1. This key allows you to change the window coordinates by theme without entering values using the windows button.
  2. Zbox: Allows you to draw a box to define a window.
  3. Zoom In: Zooms in on the cursor.
  4. Zoom Out: Zooms out as though you stepped back to get a wider view.
  5. Zdecimal: Gives a window such that your target x-increment is 0.1.
  6. Zsquare: Gives a square (mxm) window. Makes a circle look like a circle.
  7. Zstandard: A 10x10 window centered at (0,0).
  8. Ztrig: Sets window for an Xscl of pi/2.
  9. Zinteger: Sets x-increment in trace to 1 as standard a window as possible.
  10. ZoomStat: Uses lists to set window.

  11. TRACE

This key allows you to trace (get the x and y values along the graph) using the arrow keys.

    GRAPH

Graph the chosen functions in the current window.

    Other keys:

X,T,O We will use this key to enter an x-variable into a function.

    LINK ( 2nd X,T,O )
